Hi I'm Anarie

I have two beautiful daughters and more than 20 piano students. I love music, laughter, and fresh air! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the lucky mother of two little girls! I love spending time playing with them, seeing them grow, teaching them things, and getting lots of snuggles. We spend our days singing, dancing, playing outside, cooking, and reading. Each afternoon, their daddy comes home and takes over while I teach piano lessons for 2 hours. I got my degree in Piano Performance, and spent more than 4 years practicing piano 30+ hours a week. Now, I am lucky to get 30 minutes of practice a day. :) I love music! But even more than I love music, I love people! I love getting to know my students, watching them develop, and helping them reach their goals.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints fills my life with peace, happiness, and direction. I have a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and I know that I can rely on the strength of Jesus Christ to see me through any difficulty I may encounter. The gospel and the church have helped me learn how to fill my life with beautiful and uplifting things. Having children has deepened my understanding of God's plan for us, confirmed in my heart the reality of our eternal natures, and helped me see how we truly can find ourselves when we lose ourselves in service to others. I am learning not to judge others, but to love, accept, and serve them as Christ would. I see that when I follow God's laws and keep his commandments, I receive physical and spiritual blessings. I am grateful for the scriptures, especially The Book of Mormon, and for how studying them invites the Spirit into my life. I know that God hears and answers my prayers and that I can rely on Him to give me direction when I need it.

How I live my faith

I love attending church each week with my family. I spend most of my time at church with my little girls in the children's class. I play the piano while the children learn and sing songs. I am frequently asked to perform solos or accompany singers and instrumentalists during our church meetings and enjoy making new arrangements of familiar hymns. I appreciate how the church gives me ample opportunities to serve others and encourages me to get to know those around me and find ways to meet their needs.
