Hi I'm Patrick McMullin

I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah, graduated from Herriman High! I am currently serving the Lord in Edmonton Canada! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball. I strive to get good grades and I plan on attending college after my mission to Edmonton Canada speaking Spanish. I love having friends and family around. I am VERY social. I play the piano (some). I love to serve others and am striving to represent the Lord the best I can now in Canada.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a Mormon family, I chose to be baptized and remain a faithful member because I have received my own testimony of this restored gospel. I love to interact with youth that have the same values as I do. I am a Latter-Day Saint because of the joy it brings me, whenever I do something wrong, I feel the mercy of the Lord after I have pleaded forgiveness from my wrongdoings. When this happens it makes me want to do better and be better. When I do good, Christlike things, I have a feeling come over me of joy and encouragement to keep doing the good. This feeling is the wonderful presence of the Holy Ghost in my life. I strive to have that feeling in my life through the Savior's Atonement and the gift of the Holy Ghost. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The number one thing that I try to live by to represent my Savior is striving to keep His commandments He has given us. I love to serve others and to see the blessings from service. I volunteer in my neighborhood through church functions. I go on humanitarian trips to help others in less fortunate circumstances. I am active in youth groups where we have fun, clean activities every week. I read my scriptures and study the gospel everyday to be prepared to share with others. One thing I love to do to strive to live the gospel is to be positive to all. Negativity isn't from God, following the example of Jesus Christ and being merciful, positive, kind, and faithful are things from God, we should strive to be like Christ in all things!
