Hi I'm Jason

I live in the south, come from a Christian family and love the outdoors and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 3. I love the beach, salt water fishing, archery hunting and working in my yard. I am a family man and find so much joy in the beauty of the earth. My wife introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints more than 20 years ago while in high school. I knew she was special and found that this is Jesus Christ correct church on the earth. I found that Joseph Smith was in fact a prophet of God and restored Christ church back onto the earth. This was a difficult thing for my parents and extended family who are not members. However, over time they have seen a wonderful change in me.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I found it to be Christ Church on the Earth. It's founded on revelation and real authority from God. It's built on Prophets and Apostles and eternal families. I could not deny it's teachings that Jesus IS the son of God and that he and God are separate individual beings and that the holy ghost is also. I could not deny that God still speaks to man today.

How I live my faith

I participate a lot in my church and have served in several positions in my ward and stake. I have served as a Clerk, Elders Quorum President, Stake Executive Secretary, Stake High Council and currently a counselor in the Bishopric. Serving is wonderful and I have been blessed tremendously. My testimony of Jesus Christ and his restored church have grown tremendously. I found the most rewarding calling though is in my own home to my family and extended family. It really doesn't matter where we serve or what callings we hold; its how we serve each other and love one another.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Jason
I know that God speaks to man today like he did in biblical times because he loves his children; today just like he did in those times. Like to Moses, Abraham and others, he speaks to prophets today. We are his greatest creation and he loves us and wants people today to know his will and direction for them. Show more Show less
