Hi I'm Justin Unasa

I am from American Samoa and I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

There have been many trials and tribulations in my life but I know that without them I wouldn't be able to grow and experience the beauty of making decisions or choosing right from wrong. Being a Mormon has being the greatest blessing in my life. I have been in the military for six years and around the world for work but I can never forget to give thanks to my Heavenly Father for his great love for me. Sports is a big thing in my life, I love playing volleyball and basketball because they are fun sports. Every time I play, it relieves the stress and I just feel refresh and free. I love to help out my friends and those that needs helping, as a full-time missionary, I love doing the lord's work. My family is my greatest happiness and with being Mormons, I get to be with them eternally.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that we were once live together with our Heavenly Father in the life before earth but were here to live life as imperfect beings so that we can test our love for him. I know that we all agree to his plan but as we came on earth we forgot about it so our father gave us guidelines through scriptures and through prayers. Not everything we will be able to understand but someone who can talk with God like the prophets from before, Adam, Moses, Noah, etc....There is no other place I can find full understanding about my purpose in life and that can guide me from challenges and obstacles to joy better than the teachings of the Mormon church. I have made many mistakes that could lead me to bad but with the Mormons, I have live a more happy and peaceful life.

How I live my faith

Faith is what makes everything in my life possible. Believing in teachings that were given by someone that you don't remember meeting or have never met is always hard. Growing up being a Mormon is a great blessing in my life, I was taught in every aspect of life and how I get to become closer to my Heavenly Father. By having so much faith in God by reading my scriptures, pray often with a sincere heart, live the commandments and follow the examples of his son Jesus Christ, I have felt the love of God each day pouring blessings into my life in many ways that I can understand. I have helped others with their needs and shared about the Mormon belief and it not only gave me joy but they have found peace, comfort, love, joy, satisfaction and most of all their purpose in life.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Justin Unasa
It is the Church that Jesus Christ himself establish when he was on earth by choosing 12 of his apostles to help preach it unto the people so they can receive the gospel and return back to live with our Heavenly Father. When he died, he was resurrected and ascended back to heaven and his Church was then continue by his apostles through revelations from him through the Holy Ghost. After all his apostles were murdered by the weakeness of the people, they changed his teachings and God took his church away from the face of the earth. Later, his church was then restore through a prophet name Joseph Smith and now many people has live it and have been bless by it just like those that were once with Jesus in his days.
