Hi I'm Kari

I grew up in Montana. Went to college in North Dakota where I met my husband, from Nassau Bahamas. We now have 3 kids.

About Me

I LOVE my family! My husband and I met through a common love of sports which we are INCREDIBLY competitive. I love the most anything that keeps me outdoors: gardening, hiking, playing...

Why I am a Mormon

I love the concept of family. Our Father's plan to be together forever touches my soul deeply. My husband is not a member yet, but I know with all my being and with full faith in our Savior's plan, my husband will see the joy in living the gospel so that we can be sealed in the temple as a family for time and all eternity. My children do not have any other family members who are active members in the church except myself. They teach me more than I have ever taught them. I love my family with all my heart and I look forward every minute to the day we are finally a family together in the temple.

How I live my faith

We have moved around a bit but I have been able to stay involved through our children. I have been called twice to be a primary teacher. Our son is in scouts and we are overachievers in his participation. :D I enjoy listening to the children sing and tell me stories of the scriptures. We study them almost every night by watching little CTR videos that my children have grown to love. It is so much fun seeing them grow in knowledge I never got at their age.

What is faith?

Kari
Faith is believing even when you cannot touch it with your hands or see it with your eyes but you still KNOW it is there. It is felt inside you to a point you may not be able to explain...but you KNOW it is truth. Show more Show less
