Hi I'm Kristina

I am currently a student at BYU studying exercise and wellness. I have a passion for fitness and love to travel.

About Me

I grew up in gorgeous Provo, Utah and have stayed here while attending BYU. I'm studying exercise and wellness because I love anything to do with fitness and living well, and hope to be able to work in a job where I can help others find this love. I love warm weather and being outside, which is a great benefit from living in Utah where there are gorgeous mountains to hike, lakes to swim in, and places to explore. I love to travel and have been to most places in the US, some of South America, and backpacked through most of Thailand. However, I have a long bucket list of places still to see and things to do. I love my family and feel extremely blessed to be able to live so close to them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found true happiness in the gospel . Life isnt always easy; however, if you let Christ in he can make your burdens light. Christ died for us so that we may live with him again and all he asks in return is that we keep his commandments and love others. The gospel helps you to be your best self by loving and serving others around you. I love the gospel and the person its helped me become.

How I live my faith

Growing up in Provo, Utah, often referred as the "Mormon bubble", it sometimes felt hard to know if I truly had a testimony or if I was simply leaning on the testimonies of those around me. However, when I hit some hard trials in my life that's when I knew with all my heart that the church is true and Christ is truly our Savior. The way I try to live my faith is being a missionary at all times. Which means never being afraid to stand up for what I know to be true, but it also means loving those around me no matter their circumstance. I love meeting new people and have friends all over the world in all different religions with all different lifestyles. They all know my standards and what I believe and that no matter what I love them. Christ said, "That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." The whole center of the church is built on the foundation of loving our fellow man. Which is what I try to do everyday.
