Hi I'm Brian

My wife and I have just been called to serve in the Canada Halifax Mission and are so excited to go and serve.

About Me

I was fortunate to be born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After serving a mission in Southern California I returned to BYU where I met and married my wonderful wife. We have been married now for 45 years. My career was in the automobile business where I have spent the last 45+ years. After purchasing the store from my father, I have now sold considerable interest to my valued partners allowing Sandy and I to now serve a mission together in the Canada Halifax Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Through our activity in the Church, my wife and I were able to raise 5 wonderful children who have also developed faith in God and are now raising our 14 grandchildren successfully in a world where traditional values have been fading away. Knowledge of God and His plan for us provides indescribable Joy with the ability to use our power of agency in choosing good over evil and trust in God to deliver from evil.

How I live my faith

I have been active in the Church all my life and have been incredibly blessed. Through the years I have been given many opportunities to serve that have strengthened my faith and my relationship with my Heavenly Father and with a deep appreciation and awe for the Atonement performed by my Saviour, Jesus Christ. Recently, I was serving as the Multi-Stake Director of Public Affairs in Calgary where I had the exquisite experience of preparing, volunteering and assisting in the Public Open House for the newly constructed Calgary Temple. Following the dedication, I had the privilege of serving as an ordinance worker in this beautiful and sacred Temple.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Brian
I have been obedient to the "Law of Tithing" all my life and have been keenly aware of the many blessings I have received because of my obedience to this commandment. I large measure, my wife and I have been blessed with all the resources required to now serve a full time mission for the Church in the Canada Halifax Mission. We are excited to go and so very grateful for the blessings we have received so we can go. Show more Show less
