Hi I'm Blythe

I have a wonderful husband and three darling children. I'm a part-time dentist and full-time mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very busy member. My husband is the bishop of our congregation and I serve others in compassionate needs. I am a dentist and work part-time, and I am raising three beautiful children. I strive to teach my children about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to keep my life and my family's lives organized and happy, and it is through my membership and devotion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that I know how. Am I happy all the time? No, trials and problems come to me all the time, but I try to rely of on my faith to see the ultimate big picture of life

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon. That doesn't mean I follow unknowingly. I have searched, prayed, and learned about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I served a full-time mission in Riverside, California. While a missionary, I taught all types of people--from the very wealthy, to the even a homeless man living under an olive tree. This was a humbling experience for a twenty-two year old. I strived as a missionary, and even today, to appreciate the differences in people and also the commonality. Isn't that what Jesus did??

How I live my faith

As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I serve others in compassionate needs. I was given this opportunity, or calling, to help other members in our congregation. Service is sometimes not convenient, but it is certainly worth it. We are all brothers and sisters, and once in a while, we need a helping hand to get through the tough times. I help assess and organize volunteers who can come in and help.

What is being a Mormon like?

Blythe
Basically, it is just like anyone else. Co-workers of mine are surprised I am a Mormon. I don't know what they think Mormons are like. I go to church every Sunday. I help others throughout the week through service. I talk about my beliefs and try to live them. I don't drink or go to bars. I don't use profanity. I don't condone immorality. I do, though, like to joke around; take work seriously; and talk about my weekends and family--just like anyone else. Show more Show less
