Hi I'm James

I was raised in Idaho. I lived in Mexico and Israel. I love learning about other people and their cultures. I'm Mormon

About Me

I was raised in the church by my mother, but my father is not a member. I love them both though, without their guidance I would not be where I am. My dad took us around the world, literally. During my short life I've lived in two different countries, and I have visited several others. Because of this up bringing I've learned to love different cultures. I enjoy learning about how other people live their lives, and I hope to make this apart of my career. I believe God made us all different so that we can learn about each other. As I have learned about others I have found that I am enriched by their perspectives.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to live this way because I know that this Gospel is true. The doctrine is true, and the principle he me to be a better man. I am not perfect, but I know that by living the principles taught in both the scriptures and by living prophets have made me into a far better man than I could possibly imagine, and as I continue to live these principles I know that I will continue to progress.

How I live my faith

I serve as a leader of a group of about 30 men. My job is to make sure that they are learning about who they are, and I strive to help these realize that they can be better than who they are. I principle that I live by is a hindu proverb: "There is no nobility in being superior to others. True nobility lies in being superior to one's former self". Whenever I meet with these men everything I try to do is to help them be better, and to draw closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ. It is a hard assignment, but the effort is worth it.
