Hi I'm Raleigh

I'm a small town girl from Perry, Utah. I'm a musician, a student, and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I enjoy the piano, organ, guitar, and singing. Throughout high school and college I studied music as a Music Education major and participated in various school and community plays. Since then I have changed my major to Family Studies (with a Music minor) and like applying principles from school to my own relationships and family. I like to compete in sports and be active. I enjoy spending time with my cute husband. I love making and eating desserts. I have always had a passion for humanitarian work and would like to travel to China to work with medically challenged children in orphanages.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God is the ultimate source of my strength. I find the most peace when I am living his teaching and following the commandments. I know of no greater way to find happiness and peace. One thing about my church that is unique is the vital role of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Because of it I can repent of my wrongdoings and be more inspired to change and become better. I also know that because of the Atonement, God feels all of our emotions and pains. We are never alone. I also find great comfort in knowing that I can be sealed to my parents and brothers and sisters and husband forever. Those relationships will never be destroyed when I die.

How I live my faith

My favorite callings have always been with the children whether that is playing the piano in primary, or teaching the sunbeam (3 and 4 year olds) class. Little kids can always bring a smile to my face. For most of my life I have also held music callings such as being ward choir pianist, ward organist, and ward choir director.
