Hi I'm Lee Lowry

I am a member of birth born in the Gospel, and grew up in St Helens

About Me

Whilst writing this, I am currently on a apprenticeship studying to become a Technical Engineer. I enjoy drawing/sketching I always have from a young age. I have a active lifestyle, completing Tough Mudder in 2013 , I am interested in learning new things and gaining new skills

Why I am a Mormon

So why am I a Mormon? Being a member of the church from a baby, finding my own personal testimony has been difficult. Growing up in the gospel, I started doing things just because it was expected of me, until my first EFY. I had read the scriptures through a couple of times before and held the Aaronic Priesthood, on this EFY I was challenged on the last night to read Moroni 10:4-6 and ask with a firm desire to know the truth. So as you expected I did it and the Spirit that night was the strongest I had ever felt it, testifying to me that I had always known it was the truth. As I carried on growing within the Gospel there was times that I struggled with as not being perfect, that I earned my testimony of the Atonement and how it works, it has great power that can forgive and it showed my that my Father in Heaven is there for me and will always be. I later received my Patriarchal blessing, my reasoning was that I needed a direction in life but it didn't show me a direction until I was older. I have felt the Spirit Testify itself to me about families being together forever and that has helped me with some things I struggled to understand. I love to go to the Temple they are amazing buildings that when you enter worthily you can partake of the blessings within them

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday with scripture study and prayer, in my previous ward I served in a number on callings, I attend institute every Thursday I can. I go to as many events made by the church for people of my age such as conventions.
