Hi I'm Adam

I grew up just outside the Tampa Bay Area. I work in insurance. I am married to the love of my life and I am a MORMON!

About Me

I grew up in the church. My family is active in the church and I have good parents who taught me correct gospel standards to live by. I served a mission and there I gained my true testimony of the gospel and why it is called the plan of happiness. I love to write and I love to tell stories. I love to help and find joy in serving others. I love to swim; when I'm in the water there are no limitations just pure freedom. I have a love for country and the men and women who protect the right to be me. I like to watch movies and spend time with my wife. We like to do arts and crafts together. We love to spend time with each other and find joy in looking at the simple things life has to offer. I am currently in the process of learning how to play the piano. My wife is teaching me and this might take a life time but I am determined to learn. She is a good teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many choices in the world today of different churches to go to and different paths to follow that it can be confusing to know which one is correct. I know that God is my Father. He is our Heavenly Father and he wants all of his children to return to live with him again someday. He has given us direction throughout time by calling prophets to give direction and clear up confusion. With authority from God these chosen men have preached the gospel to our Heavenly Father's children so they would not have to wander in darkness and confusion. God has followed this pattern without deviation and continues to do so today. Jesus Christ is the central figure in this plan. He died for all of us so that we can all return to the presence of God one day. I will one day kneel at his feet and thank him with gratitude beyond expression for the eternal gift he has given all of us through his suffering in gethsemane, dying on the cross and over coming death on that glorious Easter morning to rein as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I know that God has again called a prophet in our day to restore lost truths just as he did in times of old. His pattern remains the same and in 1820 a young boy prayed with faith knowing that God would answer his question. In answer to that humble prayer a restoration began to take place. The Lords church has been restored to the earth. The Priesthood, the authority to act in the name of God and perform ordinances necessary for salvation has been restored to the earth. A prophet and twelve apostles walk the earth just as in the times of old and modern day revelation is again being given to the people. The Bible and the Book of Mormon stand as companion volumes of scripture to testify to the earth that Jesus is the Christ. Miracles are not lost but continue to bless our lives today and everyone can come to know as I have that this is true through asking God in Prayer. HE ANSWERED ME. HE WILL ANSWER YOU.

How I live my faith

Each Sunday I have the blessing of teaching 4 and 5 year olds with my wife. I use the word blessing now but this was not always the case. When I was first asked to teach I was scared of teaching "little ones". However, each week the children end up teaching me more than I teach them. They have a love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that is simple and pure. It's innocent and a great example to me of how to live my life. I also have found pure joy in doing arts and crafts with the students and of course who does not love snack time during church. The smiles on their faces and the thanks of their parents bring joy to my heart. It's humbling to be entrusted with such a great responsibility as teaching the "little ones". I find great comfort in the brotherhood I share with the other men in the church. As we meet together and discuss ways we can be better husbands and fathers I find strength in their examples. I am amazed each week at the dedication and service church members provide to one another. It is an example of the Saviors commandment to "... love thy neighbor as thyself."
