Hi I'm Karli

I'm 18, a grade 12 student. I'm Canadian, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 18 years old, I live in Canada. I have 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 sister-in-law, and 1 cat! I was born and raised in the Church, 3rd generation! Thanks to the 2 wonderful missionaries who knocked on my grandparents door, in Swift Current Saskatchewan. Thanks to my grandfather for letting anyone and everyone in, and for listening to them. Summer of 2014, I went and served with H.E.F.Y and I went to Suva Fiji! I had the best time of my life! I am planning on going back! I love to spend time with my friends, and family. My family means the world to me! I love them so much! I also love my cat a lot! If you know me, you will know that I am in love with cats !

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but just because I was born into it, I wanted to find out for myself why it was so important for my grandparents to join, and for my mother to continue and raise us in the church. I gained a testimony at a young age, no it's not perfect, but I needed and wanted to find out for myself if it was true or not. I love the peace and comfort it brings. I love the values that it teaches. If you are curious, I challenge you to look for answers to questions that you may have.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the Young Single Adult ward, and every Wednesday night, we have a cheap swim night, this is where YSA from all over our City get together and go swimming for an hour, it's nice to see modestly dressed young adults. People really notice us, and how kind and respectful we are. I live my Faith daily, by dressing modestly, and respecting my body that our Heavenly Father gave us.
