Hi I'm Katie Sue

I love to laugh! I've moved a lot, learned a lot, and loved a lot. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Mesa, Arizona, but I have moved 12 times since then. I come from an amazing family, and they are truly my best friends in the world. I love to sing, play the piano, dance, read, and laugh! In high school I was involved in student government, show choir, drill team, seminary council, and the school musicals. I love to make new friends and just have fun. I'm always happy when I am with my family! I am a student at Brigham Young University. I am preparing to serve a full-time mission for the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church all of my life. I have an incredible family, whose teaching and support have helped me to learn so much of this gospel. However, the real reason I am a Mormon is because I have come to know for myself that this is truly the Church of Jesus Christ. I have felt the power and truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I have felt the power of the priesthood, the power of God on earth. I am a Mormon because I know that Thomas S. Monson is truly a prophet of God. I am a Mormon because I love my family, and I know that we can be together as a family for the rest of eternity, because of the covenants we make in the temple. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and gives me hope and purpose every day.

How I live my faith

I try everyday to live my faith a little better. It's not always easy, but I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ, so I try my best to be obedient. I try to live in a way that I can be an example to people around me, and help them to feel of the love that God has for them. I have served in various roles in the church, but I have recently received a call to serve as a missionary in Mesa, Arizona. I will dedicate 18 months of my life completely to the Lord. I will try to do exactly what He would want me to do and serve others. Then, my plan is to continue that effort for the rest of my life. I always want to strive to be a representative of Jesus Christ, as a member of His church.
