Hi I'm Kristin

I love to create things through sewing, cooking and crafts. I love dinosaurs. I am a world traveler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to create things. I love to sew, cook, and craft. I love dinosaurs. I love playing games. I also enjoy ice-skating. I love holidays and celebrating them with family and friends. I am currently a college student studying Marriage and Family Studies. I am the middle of 7 kids and I love my family! I am a world traveler. I have been to Italy, Vatican City, France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and England. I love to travel, but I also love being at home and spending time with the people I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want to follow Him. I know that this is His true church on the Earth today. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I can repent and be clean again. I also receive strength through the gospel to do what is right. The gospel gives me hope and gives me direction in my life. Not only on the big things, but in the details of my life. I know that I am a daughter of a loving Father in Heaven who hears and answers my prayers. He sees the whole picture and knows what is best for me. The gospel provides us with a Plan of Happiness. It explains where we came from, why we are here and where we are going. It gives me direction in this life and knowledge and peace for life after death. If we obey the commandments that the Lord has given us and do all we can to do what is right, we have the privilege to live with our families FOREVER. I love my family and I want to be with them forever. And by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, I can. I love the direction that we receive from scriptures as well as living prophets. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and provides me with additional knowledge and direction. There is also a living prophet on the Earth today, President Thomas S. Monson, who speaks for the Lord. I love the assurance that if I follow the commandments and heed the words of the prophet with exactness, I can become who the Lord wants me to become. I love my Savior and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the peace, hope, joy and direction that is brings into my life each day.

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ is a lifestyle. I try and do my best to implement its teachings in my EVERYDAY life. I pray to my Heavenly Father when I wake up each day, before bed each night and throughout the day. I study the words of the prophets, those in the scriptures as well as the lives and words of the living prophets. I also attend the temple where I can do service for people who have passed on. I participate in Family History work and pray for opportunities to serve others. I am doing my best to love and serve those around me as Jesus Christ did. And, I smile. The gospel brings so much joy into my life, I try and share that joy with others with a simple smile each day!
