Hi I'm Tara

I grew up in Southwest Florida. I'm a graduate student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a graduate student studying occupational therapy. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy outdoor sports (especially anything involving the ocean). I've spent time teaching English in China on two separate occasions and loved traveling Southeast Asia. I also spent a year and a half in Taiwan as a missionary and developed a great love of service.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts to the church, but we didn't regularly attend until I was about 12 years old. The missionaries came and taught my brother, sister and I at our home in Naples, FL. My whole family has been actively involved in living the restored gospel of Christ ever since. I continue to follow His gospel because of the happiness that I feel as I live it and for the peace and strength that it brings me.

How I live my faith

Simply put, I live my faith by following the principles taught in the scriptures and by the leaders of the church. Serving others is one way that I feel closer to Christ. I've had the opportunity to serve in many areas of the church. I've taught young children, youth, and young adults. Been a leader in activities, missionary efforts, and helping with local welfare endeavors. In my community I have been a volunteer soccer coach and enjoy regular volunteer opportunities.
