Hi I'm Riley

I grew up in Utah. I play violin and love ice cream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of 5 children, I have an older sister and 3 younger brothers. I have played violin for 12 years now and I love it so much. I played all throughout high school and a little bit of college as well as in quartets and groups on the side. I am currently preparing to serve a mission! I was called to the San Antonio, Texas mission. I am so excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is nothing better than knowing the truth and feeling and seeing the light of Christ in my life. I've had plenty of struggles just as everyone has. Having the gospel in my life has made it that much easier to endure through those daily struggles that Satan throws at us every single day. Yes, it is hard. But if it wasn't hard, then what would be the point? The point of this life is to be tested through struggle and strife and to come closer to Christ through the power of the atonement. I have used the blessing of the atonement many times. And am so grateful for it. I know that there is no other way to become like our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ then to have that broken heart and contrite spirit. It is only possible through our Savior. This gospel is true. I know it with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

Before I got my mission call, my calling in church was in the nursery with all of the 2 year olds. They are so cute!! I loved playing with toys and puzzles with them, and having snack time. Giving them the lesson was indeed a struggle sometimes (they never could sit still), but the spirit was so strong always. Even teaching the gospel in the most simple way possible to 2 year olds built my testimony even bigger!
