Hi I'm Bart

I grew up on a dairy farm in Idaho. I have 5 kids and 7 grand kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a rual area and I worked on my grandpas dairy farm. It was hard work but for me it was fun. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling and even working. I look forward to the changing seasons and the beauty they each bring to the earth. I have a very close family and we love to be together for all occasions.

Why I am a Mormon

The greatest blessings in my life have come from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. These include my opportunity to serve as a missionary, my marriage to my wife, and my children and grandchildren. I love the Lord with all my heart and I want to serve him always. He has blessed me with a wonderful family and the love we share is the most wonderful blessing I have. The gospel teaches me that my family can be together forever if we will follow the Lord and keep his commandments. I know living according to his teachings and example has helped me to be a better father and husband and a better person. My knowledge and understanding of his plan for each of us to return to him has given me strength to over come the difficulties and adversity that is a part of this life. My hope and faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ and his atonement. I know who I am and I have an understanding of the purpose of life. The true gospel of Jesus Chirst gives me strength beyond my own and gives me a bright hope for all things to come. I hold the gospel as the most precious gift because it blesses my family in so many ways.

How I live my faith

I have had many different callings and assignments in the church. Each one has helped me grow in a different way. My favorite assignments have been when I was asked to help with different kinds of service projects especially the ones with the youth. Some were completed without the person even knowing who it was who helped them. Many have been for the elderly and have involved cleaning up the home or the yard. I have seen the youth do great things and accomplish great acts of service.
