Hi I'm Madelyn Parker

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love being outdoors and going on adventures! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family! I have two brothers and a sister. My absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with them. I also love cooking, watching movies, fishing, sand duning, and pretty much anything else outdoors! I have played the piano for about 6 years and enjoy that! I attended a semester of college before becoming a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Life is great! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into this church with both parents being active members. But even with that blessing in my life, I had to find answers for myself. As I have lived an LDS life, and learned its teachings and principles, I have had the opportunity to find the truthfulness of this church. By living these gospel principles, reading and pondering on the Book of Mormon, and praying to my Heavenly Father to seek my answers, I have received sure confirmations time and time again that this is Christ's true church on Earth today. As I have felt the Holy Ghost that comes from participating in this church, I continue to have these special confirmations. I am grateful that the Lord loves us and therefore sends us the Spirit to guide us in making right choices, and in seeking and finding the truth. I am also grateful that the Lord provides us a living prophet who leads and guides His church through Jesus Christ. These teachings that bring this close relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have blessed my life forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in various different ways. The best way I do this is by striving constantly to follow our Savior's example so that others can see His light. I know that His light can become brighter and brighter within us as the world gets darker and darker. I have also had the privilege of participating in living my faith by being the president of my young women's class, taking part in committees that organize different events for our church, serving people in my community as often as I find the opportunity, and serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Consistently serving the Lord in His church is the most rewarding way we can live our faith!
