Hi I'm Kevin J Jennings

I grew up in Indiana. I accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ when I was a teenager. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was younger, I was an altar boy. I had many questions about my religion that didn't get answered to my satisfaction. My aunt and uncle eventually introduced me to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I investigated the teachings and asked plenty of questions that were logically answered and that made me feel comfortable. After a little over a year of looking into the LDS Church and discovering that all my friends were members of the church except one I decided to become a member myself. At the time I was the only member of my immediate family that joined the Church, but later on two of my sisters were also baptized. As time marched on I accepted a mission call and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences as a missionary for the Savior. That was 37 years ago and since that time I have been married for time and all eternity to my very best friend, Carol, and together we have 6 children. As I continue to study the gospel I have no doubt that my decision to join the Church was correct and my testimony continues to grow.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I became a Mormon many years ago is the result of the truths that I found in the doctrine and the good people that I associated with. I love the lifestyle of Mormon families. I love the divine truths that are evident. I love the way the gospel helps us to raise our family and provides opportunities to serve others. The Church is true in every congregation around the world and is the gospel of our Heavenly Father and not the so-called preaching of men.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Carol and I teach a Sunday School class and have in the past taught the youth of our church. One of the things we like to do as a family is to make pizzas and give them away to others "just because." Some people say our pizzas are the best they ever had. And it makes us feel good to know that they appreciate our gifts.
