Hi I'm Camilla

Oldest of 10 kids! I love horses, Arizona sunsets and Mountain rides. Bulgaria Sofia Mission October 2016! I am a Mormon!!

About Me

I'm the oldest of ten kids 7 girls and 3 boys. I love being outdoors riding horses, working, spending time with family and enjoying the heat of summer. I have 10 horses, 3 dogs, some goats and a small herd of cattle. You could say I live on a farm. My mom comes from a family of 16 kids and my dad comes from 13 kids. I love my huge family despite their craziness, and love the stories they have to tell. They are my inspiration, and have helped me in so many different ways. Both my grandmothers as well as my mother are examples of strong willed women who love the lord with every fiber of their being. My father and both my grandpas are worthy priesthood holders who shine with the spirit of Christ. I love to read. I am crazy, but love who I am and who I'm striving to be. I run track, and cross country. I love sports. I love spending time on the back of a horse. There is no greater feeling then becoming one with your horse, and feeling truly free. I feel the Lords love and the spirit the strongest when it's just me, my horse, the Arizona desert or the high mountains of Utah. The peace experienced on the back of a horse is so calming, and has strengthened my testimony of this gorgeous world God has created for us. I love the temple, and I am grateful for the opportunity God has given us to be able to live with our families forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I Love being a Mormon. I know my savior loves me and he is my brother and friend. I am truly grateful for all the Savior has done for me. I know that even though my life has been hard and difficult at times, He knows what I personally am going through. I do stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me and continues to bestow upon me.I know the Lords hand is in all things, but that doesn't make it easy. I have seen him work mighty miracles in my life, and I know he is watching out for me. There is a purpose for each of us on this earth. The Book of Mormon is a sure testament of Jesus Christ, the principles and doctrines it teaches are correct. The lord knows you, he loves you, and he wants all of us to return to him again. The gospel makes me happy, and brings assurance and peace to my life. I too as Joshua of old, will serve the Lord. He is my father. He is rock and my fortress against the mighty winds of the devil. I will lay my foundation in him and on his words. I choose this day the person I will be! I testify of Christ and of his love. This is my witness.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meeting, attend the temple and study the scriptures. I was recently called to serve an LDS Mission for 18 months in Bulgaria Sofia and leave this October. I try to never let a smile leave my face, and strive to be an example of truth and righteousness. I put on the armor of God and my young women's medallion proudly! I express gratitude for Gods gifts and the beauty of this earth. I share my testimony of this gospel throughout my every day life. I show my love for God in all I do. What Think Ye of Christ? Matthew 22:42 First he taught man all that we must know Healed and blessed them too He gave them bread and water Teachings of the truth Asked come follow me Feed my hungered lambs He prayed for us to know our Lord Walking through the land Sandals torn to threads Teaching, healing, oh what a mighty man Preparing all men for the darkest of times For when the thick sheet of Satan would be cast He bled from every pour Let thine will be done He took the bitter cup so all men could live with him He freely gave his life The father gave his son The cup of bitterness he bore The trials of earth were poured Upon my savior, my redeemer He rescued all from sin He walked a mile in my shoes So I can live with him again

In whom should we have faith?

Faith in the Lord, and his son Jesus Christ! Faith in the lord is not just the common belief in him, it is to trust in him, and lean not unto your own understanding of things. (Proverbs 3:5-7) The lord is there for us, and when we have even just a particle of faith in him, he will let it grow stronger. When we exercise our faith just like our bodies, it will grow and increase. Show more Show less
