Hi I'm Courtney

I am college student studying Electrical Engineering, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college junior studying electrical engineering. I got married last July and my husband and I now live in a super tiny apartment where we have to go up and down a ladder to get to our bedroom, but I have never been happier. When I am not studying, I love to cook, especially baking. My favorites to cook are chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and banana bread. I served a full time mission in Santiago, Chile, and grew to love the people there. I still like to speak Spanish whenever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. He gives us guidance and direction through living apostles and modern-day revelation. I am a member of this church because of the peace that I feel when I follow its teachings. I am so grateful for the relationship that I have gained with my Father in Heaven through following His teachings.

How I live my faith

I try everyday to become a little better. I attend church each week with my husband and we do our best to incorporate the teachings of Jesus Christ in our home. The church teaches us the value of gaining an education and I am working on doing that. I want to gain a college education so that I will be able to contribute to my community, the church, and my own family. I love the guidance and direction that come from living the gospel.
