Hi I'm Nate

I have lived in five different states. I love being outside and playing piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to spend time outside! Hiking, backpacking, fly-fishing, mountain biking, you name it, I love it. I really like music as well, and have been teaching myself piano for a couple years. Even though I have tried and played nearly every sport in high school, I never got hooked onto just one. I play to have fun, and that's about it. After my mission to Spain I am heading off to college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. I have gained a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true, and that every page of it testifies of Christ. I know that our Heavenly Father communicates with his children today through living prophets, just like he did thousands of years ago. I have felt the peace and blessings in my life that come from faithfully following the commandments of God. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and knows me personally.

How I live my faith

I do my best to be an example to everyone that is around me; not only those that don't belong to my church, but those that do as well. I attend early morning Seminary every day, and love every minute of it. I have lived in small towns where the only people of my faith were my three siblings, and that was incredibly hard to live up to the promises I have made. By relying on the Spirit to guide me in my choices, and spending nearly every minute with my brother, I was able to gain a very string testimony of the church, as well as the importance of families. I am also excited to serve a mission in Spain! I will be joining my brother AND sister in the mission field, who both on left the same day around one year before I leave.
