Hi I'm Samantha

I grew up in Richland, Washington. I love my family and have been in orchestra for 7 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Samantha, I go by Sam. I have been going to college for about a year now and I am majoring in Child Development, I hope to be a Speech Therapist someday for children with communicative diseases. I enjoy the outdoors and trying new things but I also like to have a relaxing night watching movies or play games. Currently, I am preparing to serve a mission and I am very excited to meet and serve others the way Christ would, to give my all and help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church. My dad is a convert but my mother grew up as a member also. When I was younger I relied on my parents beliefs and testimonies they had of our church and I eventually had to learn to find out for myself if our church was true. I attended seminary during high school and still went to church but I wasn't receiving an answer and finally I relalized I knew all along that I love my church and it's members. We are not prefect but we try and that is what amazes me. Now I want to share the happiness I have with others and serve a full time mission and seek those who are willing to listen and see that even though I'm mot perfect, the gospel of Jesus Christ is.

How I live my faith

I love church, I try my best to attend every Sunday. One of my favorite parts of church is to help teach the primary children. I help watch them and teach them simple lessons. It is very rewarding! I also help with the youth and teach them about college. It's weird to think I was in their shoes just a few years ago. My brother and I like to sing at some of our church events, such as our Christmas party we had in December and that was really fun. A few years ago I helped participate in a play that members of our church provided for our community about Chirst's life and I played in the orchestra and it was amazing to see all the people come and watch our preformance.
