Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a husband. I'm a healthcare administrator. I'm an avid golfer. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I had the unique experience of growing up in both Utah and California. The first 13 years of my life I spent in Utah playing soccer, snowboarding, skateboarding, camping (reaching Eagle rank in scouting), laughing, and enjoying fun times with family and friends. Half way through middle school my family and I moved to San Clemente, CA in Orange County. In California I immediately and hesitantly entered high school, met knew friends, decided to start playing golf and made the high school golf team. Life was great! However, a year after moving to California we found out that my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We saw many miracles in our life through those years, but eventually my mom passed away. Her legacy, example, and memory live on in so many who's life she touched, including me. One month later I began my missionary service in Paraguay which was two years that will forever be a part of me. I love being a missionary and sharing the gospel with those around me. Nine months after returning home from Paraguay, I married my high school sweetheart and best friend Heather. After a wonderful few years living in Provo, UT attending BYU we both graduated and moved back to Orange County. We now live in Irvine, CA where I work as the Executive Director of a Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, enjoy time with family, serve in the local ward, bike, run, golf, and go to the beach. My wife is expecting twin girls this OCT and we could not be more excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I testify that our Heavenly Father loves each of us more than we can comprehend. And because of that deep and eternal love for us He sent His son to die for us. So that through His son we could be saved in his heavenly kingdom if we will but repent and follow His example. I testify that Christ lives and made possible the redemption of man. I also testify that God and Jesus Christ called as a prophet Joseph Smith, appeared to him and restored the gospel and church of Jesus Christ through him. I testify that that same church has grown through the years because it's directed by a living prophet who today is Thomas Monson. I testify that our savior desires us to follow Him and live in happiness through Him. I testify that these things are true and share this testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by taking life one day at a time, and trying each day to be a little better then the day before. And although I don't accomplish this everyday, I'm grateful for my faith in Jesus Christ that allows me to recommit myself through repentance to Him and his gospel each time I loose my way. Truly the path to Heaven is traveled one step at a time. Currently in our ward I help oversee the brethren families from about age 18 to 40. I enjoy so very much the blessing and opportunity of organizing the home teaching effort in our ward, teaching and learning with the brethren in our group class, participating in the temporal and spiritual welfare effort for the families in our area, and visiting families in their homes to share together in the spirit of the gospel.
