Hi I'm Kaden

I grew up in Utah. I will be serving a mission in Osorno Chile . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am just finishing up high school, I play basketball and throw for the track team. I love to hunt and fish and spend time in the outdoors with my family. I'm an older brother of three little sisters. After i graduate high school I will be serving a mission in the Osorno Chile Mission. After that I will attend college and work to whatever i want to do with my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I'm the oldest of four children and my family has always gone to church each Sunday for as long as i can remember. It used to be that i would go to church and youth activities because that's what was expected of me. All my family and friends went, so I just went through the motions. I knew that the church was true, i just depended on the testimony that others had because that's all i needed. Recently however that has changed. As I started to come to the end of my high school experience I realized that I needed to be able to stand on my own. As i have built my testimony i realized how much i loved this church and the gospel. I love the way I feel when I live the commandants and have the Holy Ghost with me. I am a Mormon because I know that this church is true and I love the way i feel when I live it. I feel happy in my life even when i go through hard times. The gospel doesn't take away your problems but it makes them essayer to overcome.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each Sunday but there is more to it then that. I have always been involved in the churches youth program and the scouting program as well. Being involved with these as allowed me to provide a lot of service in my community. I love to serve and help people, it makes me feel all good inside. Being a Mormon is more about what you do outside of church a lot of the time. Its a lifestyle.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

It is kinda like if you were speeding and a guy driving an ice cream truck pulled you over and tried to give you a ticket. You would look at the guy and shake your head and tell him to get lost.. He doesn't have to authority to give you a ticket, and the ticket would have no effect on your driving record. But if a police officer pulled you over and tried to give you a ticket you probably wouldn't tell him to get lost. He has the authority to give you a ticket and that ticket will go on record and have an effect on your driving record. Show more Show less
