Hi I'm Ben

I'm an Arizonan, I'm a Christian Conservative, I love to shoot, sing, have fun, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the great state of Arizona and will be buried here as well! I have a wonderful and loving family consisting of two awesome brothers, a loving mother, and an incredible father. I'm a college student here at BYU-Idaho majoring in communications hopefully to become a law enforcer in Arizona. I absolutely love to go out and shoot firearms because it's fun and I learn a lot. I also love to sing whether it be in a choir, show choir, or musical and I love to sing and listen to 80's music! Overall, I love to have fun with my family and friends because I feel that as I have fun with them, I learn from them and grow closer to them. My christian conservative principles are deeply important to me because I feel that they are principles of the Savior and they are what help me become a better person. I served a voluntary non-profit mission for the LDS church in Ukraine which was entirely hard but totally worth it in the end. I learned so much about the gospel during my mission and I still am learning about it to this day. I'm a person that loves to learn things about the gospel and loves to learn about others as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have personally sought to know the truthfulness of this church for myself and through personal revelation I was able to find out that it is indeed true. In a short way, it just makes sense! I was born and raised in this church but I knew that I needed to find out on my own because I seriously wanted to know about it. I am a mormon because the gospel has given me so much peace, love, and calmness which cannot be described. I am also a mormon because of the knowledge the gospel gives me and how I can live a happy life during hard and difficult times. Last of all, I am mormon because of my love for the Savior, especially how He loves me and the fact that He died for me so that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father once again.

How I live my faith

Each day I try to become a better person than I was yesterday and my faith is the driving force that helps me with that. Whenever I see something that is wrong or somebody doing something bad, I do my best to stand for what is right and what I believe is to be correct before the Lord. I do my best to fulfill all my callings and assignments as well as striving to keep all the commandments that Heavenly Father has given us. Basically, I do what is required of me from the Lord with all my strength, heart, and spirit. As the Lord has commanded us to be an "example of the believers," I try to live being an example as much as possible because I definitely want others to feel the power and love that comes from this gospel. Living my faith may not be easy but it sure is worth it.

Are Mormons Christians?

We are Christian to the core! We accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior who died for us and was resurrected for us so that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven. We have been Christian since the beginning and will always be Christian because of our love for the Savior. Personally have a testimony of the Savior and how He is the center of everything in life and in the church. Show more Show less
