Hi I'm Taylie Larrisa Christiansen

I'm a Mormon, and I attend BYU-Idaho in my spare time.

About Me

I have been dancing for 16 years, I did a dance studio for all of those years, plus I did dance team in 7,8,9,10,11, and 12 grades. I am an avid reader, and like to watch the movies that accompany the books I have read. I am going to college, finishing my freshman year before I leave for my mission. I am not married or dating currently, I know the Lord has someone for me when I get off my mission and get back to school :) If there was one thing you could talk to me about it could either be Harry Potter or Hunger Games! Best books, and movies, ever! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel. When I was a teenager, I really questioned if I believed anything that my parents or those people who are members were feeding me. I didn't think I wanted to be a part of the church but then I was challenged to read the Book of Mormon. In a month. Yeah, I am surprised I even did it, but not that surprised. After reading it, I just got that warm feeling in me that was like "Yeah, it's true. I'm surprised you questioned it". Of course, I got this feeling after lots of reading and praying and really pondering how I felt. Seminary really helped me, and suddenly, I was filling out my papers for a mission. When it's true, you just know and want to teach the whole world about it.

How I live my faith

I did not participate in church so much when I was in middle and high school however, I have been more active since I started school all by myself like a grown-up! :) haha, I really like music in church and helped with that while at school in my ward over there. I now help teach a primary class and am ALWAYS 100% when it comes to visiting teaching, the one thing I know how to do is talk! I used to be in youth council which is an organization where I helped organize events for the youth in ALL of the wards combined. I am also taking a lot of religion classes, including institute for those who are not in Seminary now.
