Hi I'm Susan

I was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. My husband and I have 4 daughter, 3 sons-in-law and currently 5 grandchildren.

About Me

I enjoy playing golf with my husband. I love playing games with our family as well as hiking, traveling and upholding family traditions. Some of those traditions are: our annual gingerbread house contest, Fathers Day BBQ and a special Christmas Eve Family Home Evening.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is of paramount importance to me and being a member of the LDS Church I know how we can be together forever. Even though I have been a lifelong member of this church, it took effort on my behalf to develop a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which included: study of the Church doctrines, reading the Book of Mormon and sincere prayer to my Heavenly Father to gain a personal witness for myself. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who listens as we pray, an Older Bother and Savior who died for us and the Holy Ghost which bears witness of these truths and guides us down the correct paths. I know that they are 3 separate Beings. I believe we receive revelation today that began in this dispensation with Joseph Smith and continues on through our current Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to work with young women within our church and children 3-12 in our church and our community. I enjoy being involved with many neighborhood activities such as: block parties, 4th of July breakfast, Halloween Trunk-or-Treats, and Christmas Caroling. I also participate in neighborhood emergency preparedness activities.
