Hi I'm Nick

I grew up loving computers and technology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love computers and technology. I enjoy video games, especially those that can be enjoyed with friends and family around the world. I suffer from debilitating pain, which limits my ability to walk or stand to under an hour daily. Good thing computers are used sitting down!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, both of my parents were dedicated members of the church. As such, there was never a question of whether or not I would attend church, I had to. When I left home to attend college, I found myself on my own, questioning the church I had grown up in. During this time in my life, I became friends with people of several faiths, and I some things that caused them despair more than I felt. In particular, I noticed a difference in understanding and belief regarding life after death, and God's plan for our eternal happiness. Today, my faith in and understanding of the eternal nature of our souls helps me live a full and happy life, no matter the obstacles or challenges placed in our way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things. Prayer, scripture study and attending meetings are small, easy things I do to build my faith. I also serve in the youth organization as a secretary, helping to keep everything running smoothly.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Death is not the end of us, or our individuality. It's a step forward in our Heavenly father's plan. When our physical body dies, as it surely will someday, our Spirit will be separated from it to go on to the spirit world. In the spirt world we have the opportunity to continue to learn, and progress toward our own perfection with all our loved ones who have passed before us. Someday, after death, our spirit and body will be reunited into perfect form, never to be separated again. This resurrection is made possible only by the perfect life, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Show more Show less
