Hi I'm Jack

I'm from San Diego and am a student at BYU. I love to ski and spend time outdoors! I'm a missionary in Slovenia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the amazing city of San Diego, California, and am the oldest of 5 kids. I love my family more than anything, and enjoy spending time with them, whether we're at the beach, somewhere fun outside, or just being lazy inside the house! I'm a student at Brigham Young University in Provo, and still trying to decide between Economics, Neuroscience, and Political Science... or maybe something else alltogether! I fell in love with the Utah mountains when I moved there, and love hiking in them, skiing in them - really anything to do with them. Having finished my freshman year at BYU, I'm now serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in the Adriatic North Mission, which includes the countires of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, and Montenegro. I am currently in the AMAZING country of Slovenia, trying my hardest to learn Slovenian... There is nothing better than a mission (: I love this Church, and love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happier than anything else in the world. It's true that life isn't always easy - in fact, it can sometimes be very, very, difficult. I know personally that each and every person will face trials and hardships of some sort. That being said though, this Church and my relationship with Jesus Christ help me during those times of trial, and give my family the strength and support it needs. I love being a Mormon, and wouldn't trade it for the world!

How I live my faith

One of my favorite concepts related to faith is this: true faith is not just a passive belief - it is something that leads to action! In an attempt to live by that principle, I decided to take a break from college and from my everyday life to go and share my faith with others. I was blessed to be born a member of this church, and I am currently serving a full-time mission in Slovenia so that I can help others have the same peace and happiness I have.
