Hi I'm Cassie Beecher

Sports lover, daughter, sister, friend, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student who loves to enjoy the outdoors. If it is a sunny day I can't focus until I am outside engaging with the beautiful day. Aside from the outdoors I also love to play water polo, and making people laugh. Laughter between two or more people is a beautiful thing. It brightens the day, and helps make a stronger connection with those around you.

Why I am a Mormon

There are several reasons why I am Mormon, but the three main reasons are the reassurance/guidance in this day and age, the constant comfort of God's love, and how it assists me in progressing as a human. Recently, I had a period in my life where I struggled to find the goodness and joy in life. I was bitter, selfish, full of pride, and unpleasant. In this time of darkness and sadness I learned that I was forgetting to rely on the Lord, and was not choosing to see the good I had in my life. As I began to have a change in heart and prayed with real intent I turned to the Book of Mormon to obtain light on my situation. As I truly focused on our Savior's love for everyone I felt the darkness surrounding me leave, while complete light entered my soul. This could have not happened unless God, and the Savior's atonement healed my heart. I am Mormon because it is times like these. The Savior NEVER forgets us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing service in the community and for those in need. Every week I meet with a group of people, and we go out and find those who need service. In these times of service we provide friendship to those in need of comfort, aide those who are sick, and do home service for those who cannot clean and do other various activities for themselves. Also, I look over some of the sisters in our church to make sure they are being loved and cared for.
