Hi I'm Trishana

I grew up in Minnesota. I am a married mother of two. I am a paralegal. I love photography. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother of two children: a son and a daughter. I have been married for almost 19 years. I enjoy photography - especially of families and children. I have become very interested in my family history. Recently, I have begun to take up target shooting. I have found this to be a fun activity.

Why I am a Mormon

When something is true ... it's true. When I learn that truth I can't deny it. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, that He - a perfect being - atoned for the sins and pains of all mankind. As I married and became a parent I knew for certain other truths - this life is part of a plan of happiness. I am part of a family that is patterned after something much greater and infinite. I am married and have have produced children as part of this plan - It is all part of a plan designed to make men/women better. To test us. I know that plan to be part of my mission in life. I know that as I learn and live by the plan of my Heavenly Parents that a peace comes to me ... I am a daughter of God. He knows me. He loves me.

How I live my faith

I teach in the women's auxiliary once a month a lesson on gospel truths - my goal is each week to have the women learn the lesson in a way that they internalize the message as something that pertains to them. So, I guess that is how I live my faith. As I learn about my Savior and His teachings I try to make the words or the teachings personal to me.
