Hi I'm Graham Pingree

I am a BYU student who was born and raised in Colorado. I love basketball, music, and movies and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student grinding to keep my grades up in college. Late nights and long days have become my schedule. I have had a life long love of all sports, but more specifically basketball. Along with a love for sports I also love music. I listen to music as a stress reliever and an escape, and I love all types. Indie Rock, Hip Hop, or even Country is on my radar. Since my time in college, I consider myself a movie buff and most of the time I can't watch the same movie twice. I love to spend time with my family and friends and enjoy the great outdoors!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this Church is the only thing in my life that brings true lasting joy. When I have questioned its teachings or questioned my purpose in life, the Holy Ghost has always reaffirmed to me the truthfulness of this gospel. I know that by following the teachings of the Book of Mormon, we can be happy not only with our situation, but satisfied with who we have become as spirits. We can carry this happiness into the next life when we have the opportunity to live with our families forever in God's presence. I am a Mormon because my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ love me and I can feel that within this church.

How I live my faith

I have been ordained with God's power in the form of the Priesthood, meaning I am able to do his will if I am worthy, to teach a few members of our congregation in their homes. Along with a companion we check up on these individuals to make sure these individuals know they are loved by the Savior and the congregation and to see that their day to day living needs are being met. I also try to live my faith by ministering to those less fortunate. No matter the situation, I try to envision Christ's reaction and action and I try to follow his example.
