Hi I'm McKenzie Loftis

I grew up in Utah, I would like to be a nurse someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always grown up in Utah. I love school and I love my jobs. I work on a maternal floor in Salt Lake City, Utah and help nanny kids in my neighborhood with disabilities. I would like to become a surgical nurse someday. I go to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. I love to play sports and watch movies. I could eat pizza ever day. I have a large family and love them very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me feel good. Though I have always been a member of this church, we each reach a point where we have to decide whether we want to stay or go. Whether we believe the words or not. I thought that this church was not for me and as time passed, I wanted to give it another go. Sometimes we just have to take a leap of faith and see what happens. We have the ability to choose how we live our lives and what we decide to believe. It is okay to not know if the church is "true" I did not know, but I wanted to believe it was the right way to live my life. We have to make the choice to have an open heart and then try to progress from there.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and making others feel accepted. I live my faith by avoiding judgement of others and by showing others its okay to be different. I live my faith by letting others know it is okay to be yourself, and it is okay to be different. Showing love for God's most prized possessions- the other people around us, we show our love for him. Showing my love for God by serving others is the best way I can live my faith.
