Hi I'm Arianna

I grew up in Utah. I am studying Civil Engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying civil engineering. I love to read, especially fantasy and fiction books. I love learning more about my ancestors and am a bit of a family history nerd. I am a middle child out of 8 kids. I eat too many sweets and love Star Wars. Basically, I love stories and family!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family where my parents were already members of the Church. I am a Mormon because the gospel taught in this Church makes sense to my heart and brain. Living the gospel and trying to get better each day has brought me joy, a sense of self and worth, and hope for all those around me. What I believe makes up the core of who I am.

How I live my faith

I am currently on an 18 month mission in Germany. I am working to learn how to help people come closer to Christ. That is a missionaries purpose, to help others come unto Christ. Whether we recognize it or not, we all need our Savior. I want to help people see that and see how they can have a relationship with Him. I try each day to look for ways that I can help others. I make mistakes all the time so I am trying to learn to turn to my Savior for help and forgiveness so that I can improve each day.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is our Heavenly Father who loves and knows each of us individually. He knows our names, challenges, likes, and dislikes. Because He is our Father, He wants to help us become our very best selves. He wants us to be happy! He sent us to Earth so that we could learn how be like Him and then return home to Him again. He has a body of flesh and bone that looks like ours, but that is eternal and perfected. Show more Show less
