Hi I'm Savannah

I'm a California girl. I spend my time singing and being silly. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Performing is my passion, I'm more comfortable on a stage than anywhere else. I love to cook and bake yummy desserts. I am currently serving in the Salt Lake City South Mission. I grew up in this church, but I've had struggles and hard times just like everyone else. I haven't always been active or believed that God loved me. When I realized how unhappy I was, I decided that I had to gain my own testimony and so I did through ALOT of prayer, and amazing friends that helped me come back to church. I now know without a doubt that this church is true.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church is true. Without it, I would not be who I am today. The church has always been a part of my life, but there have been times where I've started to fall away. The differences in how I felt in those times were huge. I never had my own testimony growing up, I relied a lot on others. Since coming back to church and gaining my own testimony, I have been happy. Even when times are tough, I can smile, because I have a Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally. Knowing that Heavenly Father listens to every single prayer is the most wonderful comfort. How could I get through life without His loving, guiding hands? Life is hard, you don't need to go through it alone. Having this gospel in my life is a reminder that I am NEVER alone. I know that no matter WHAT I do, no matter how badly I can mess up, it will all be okay if I put my trust in Christ and His atonement. Heavenly Father forgives every sin and every mistake. His plan for us is greater than any plan we could have thought of for ourselves. He knows what we are going through, and is there to guide us through it all. I could not be more thankful for that.

How I live my faith

I practice what I preach. I strive every day to become like Christ. I am not perfect, but I know that I can become better through Christ's atonement, and so I use the atonement each week as I partake of the sacrament at church.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes. Jesus Christ is the center of our beliefs. We follow His example and strive to be more like him. We believe Him to be our Savior and King. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

If you truly listen to what the missionaries teach, and read the scriptures with a real intent to learn, Heavenly Father WILL answer your prayers. He wants you to be happy and find the right path, so if you ask with an open heart, He will let you know that this church contains the true restored gospel, that it is the same church Jesus Christ himself established when he was here on the Earth. You just need to ask Him, and He will answer. Have faith that He will reveal the truth to you. Show more Show less
