Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in New Zealand. I'm serving in the Philippines Baguio Mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am number 5 out of 9 children. I am the 4th to serve a mission out of my sibling. My brothers served in Fiji Suva Mission, Australia Brisbane Mission and Philippines Quezon North Mission. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life but I only found out it was all true 6 months before I went on my mission. I played basketball throughout my high school days which helped me make good friends who helped me actively attend church and church activities. I have come to love my family so much while I have been serving our Savior here in the Philippines. The Book of Mormon is true, and because it is true everything else is as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have experienced the Lord's hand in my life so much. I have felt my load be lifted as I prayerfully depended on our Savior through fervent prayer. I have felt my body be energized as I push myself right past my limits. I have seen people change as they exercise their faith through obeying the commandments of God. I have felt the feelings of panicking and nervousness disappear as I turned to our Father through prayer. I have felt the Spirit testify to me that the things I have learnt are true and because I have been told I cannot deny it. At the beginning of last year I was unprepared for life after school. I was wavering in my faith and so I prayed and read the scriptures daily and everything feel into place after that. Totoo ang Simbahan na ito

How I live my faith

I live my faith by inviting others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through, Faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement, Repentance, Baptism my immersion for the remission of sins, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end daily. Serving our fellowmen really does bring happiness and as I serve them here in the Philippines I serve our Father in Heaven by helping His children return to Him.
