Hi I'm Rebecca

I enjoy DIY projects and being outdoors. Most of all I love being a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a civil engineering degree, but my real interest is creating things with my hands. Lately my projects have involved sewing. My ideal way to spend time is hiking or camping with my family in anyplace beautiful, but particularly in mountains. I am happy to have a sweet husband and an adorable baby.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have taught me the gospel since I was born. My conversion has been gradual, but very real. I have had countless opportunities to feel the Holy Ghost bear testimony that Heavenly Father loves me. I have consistently felt this truth when I am in the outdoors enjoying nature. I have found peace in the teachings of our Savior particularly the plan of happiness where He has made it possible for us to live with Him and our Father after this life. Growing up I had lots of brothers and sisters. They meant more to me than anything else and I've always had a strong desire to do what is right so I can live with them forever. Now that I am married I want to do everything I can to be worthy of eternal life with my husband and child. Everything that I know to be true I have learned through the Holy Ghost. I know that it is only through our Savior that we can repent and be changed

How I live my faith

I get to work with the young women in our ward. This is a fun calling because I get to know bright girls who are learning for themselves the truthfulness of the gospel and how it blesses their lives. My favorite assignment is visiting teaching. This is where another sister and I visit the same few sisters each month to see what needs they have and to share a message. We all learn from each other and have the opportunity to feel the spirit. My husband and I pay tithing and donate to other humanitarian and church service funds which blesses our family.
