Hi I'm Alyson

I love music, family and my friends, I'm a future missionary, and I will someday travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I am the third of four children in my family. I grew up in Ogden, UT and I love doing anything that involves being outside and being active; soccer, hiking, running, boating, skiing, swimming. I am a HUGE bookworm, I love a day when I can stay inside and read all day. I also play the piano. I have played for 12 years and I still love it. It's my relaxation and probably my favorite part of everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love everything about this church. I grew up mormon, and I have been blessed to be able to have both my parents members in this church. My parents have shown me my whole life how to love and appreciate the gospel, and to continue having faith even through hard times. I have seen how important it is to live the gospel and how not living the gospel can change your life so quickly. With that said, I have also seen the joy and happiness that comes from keeping the commandments and staying close to your heavenly father. My parents and other family members have been great examples to my testimony, but my testimony really began when I gained a knowledge for myself the truthfulness of the scriptures. I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today, and that through him we receive revelation from Heavenly Father. Living this gospel has gotten me through so much, I honestly have no idea where I would be in my life without it. I know that with this gospel and through my relationship I have with my heavenly father, there is no trial nor adversity that could possibly be too much for me to handle.

How I live my faith

Every day I strive to be better than I was the day before. As long as we are trying to be the best that we possibly can be, that's all that Heavenly Father really wants. Of course none of us are going to be perfect, we all make mistakes, and that's the beauty of this gospel. We can still learn to be happy no matter what. I set my standards high and let others know, I take the opportunity to share this gospel with others whenever I get the chance.
