Hi I'm Emily

I'm a student at Brigham Young University studying Accounting. I sing. I juggle. I play the ukulele. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student studying accounting. I enjoy learning and look forward to the years I have ahead of me in school. While school can be challenging at times, I know that my education is worth the trials. I enjoy juggling, playing the ukulele, singing, and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the church so I was born into it. I continue to follow the teachings of this church and remain a member because I have a testimony that it is true. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet who saw God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ who restored the gospel to the earth. I believe in the power of prayer to answer my questions and that I can turn to Heavenly Father whenever I need help or comfort.

How I live my faith

My calling in the church is a visiting teaching district supervisor. Each woman in a ward is given a companion to go visit and teach other women in the ward that they have been assigned to. My job is to ask each woman in my district if they were able to visit teach each month and find out if the women they are assigned to teach need anything. We then try to help these women however we can with anything they need. In this way each ward is able to look after its members.
