Hi I'm Hiram Aranda

I was born in Mexico and raised in Lenoir, NC my entire life. I'm going into dental school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always enjoyed sports that involved rackets such as Tennis, Ping Pong and bad mitten. Ever since I was little I noticed that I was particularly good at drawing. I had decided to study Architecture because my skill in drawing but I had changed my opinion and now chose to go to Dental School.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church meaning my parents were members when I was born. We always followed the laws and commandments we were taught but it got to the point where I started to see that what I believed was not my testimony but my parents. I like many others was a bit rebellious and I started to think where was I really directing my life and who do I really want to be around. I decided to read the book of mormon and over the time that I read it, I realized how much sense it made. It is not a book to replace the bible but a book to support it. I knew that it was true through prayer. I know my savior loves me and he will never leave me alone or give me any trials I can not carry myself. I know these things to be true.

How I live my faith

I have helped the youth many times in service in renovating schools such as landscaping. I have also organized many activities for the young adults who are single that were appropriate and clean. We have done many summer beach parties, gone snowboarding/skiing, dances, etc. I have received a lot of joy in doing this as well as many great memories.
