Hi I'm Ashley Vanderhoff

I'm a painter. I'm a designer. I'm a big sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Oregon and moved to Utah when I was 13. I enjoy painting and designing. I hope to one day be an interior designer or an architect. I love music, and I play the violin and a little piano. I have attended one semester of college and loved it! I love hanging out with my friends and having game nights. I am the oldest of five kids, three sisters and one brother. I love spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Heavenly Father's true church on the Earth today. I know Heavenly Father loves each of his children and wants what is best for us. I love the feelings of peace, comfort, and love I receive when I pray to my Heavenly Father. I find that as I strive to obey the commandments He has given us, I am happier and able to progress towards the person He wants me to become. I know Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and has made it possible for us to return to our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing simple things everyday. I learn about Jesus Christ and the plan Heavenly Father has for us by studying my scriptures and praying to receive confirmation of the truth. I attend church meetings and go to the temple as often as I can. When we are baptized, we promise to stand as a witness of Jesus Christ. We can do this by acting as He would. Serving and helping others is my favorite thing about living my faith. As we serve others, we are able to serve our Father in Heaven and in turn He blesses our lives and those around us.
