Hi I'm Taylor Stratton

Raised on a Farm in Colorado and brought up in the gospel by two loving parents. I love the Lord and my Family!!

About Me

I am currently a 19 year old farm boy from Colorado. I was born in Cedar City, Utah and have tons of family over there. I call both CO and UT my home. I'm an outdoor enthusiast! I love you hunt, anything from Coyotes and varmints up to Deer and Elk. I have a 2009 Honda CRF450R Dirt bike that I love to ride on any free time I get. I work as a heavy equipment operator right now and during the summer I average 65 to 70 hours a week so I don't have a ton of extra time to play but that's part of growing up. I went to school to be a machinist and in the near future I plan to go learn from someone to build custom long range rifles for snipers and long range hunters and shooters. Im a loving person and very easy to get along with. I had the privilege of going to 6 years of seminary and have been LDS my whole life so if you have any questions don't be scared to ask!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church It has been a part of me my whole life. However when my parents got a divorce when I was in 7th grade they stopped going to church and so did I for about a year or so. But after feeling the emptiness of not having its influence in my life both me and my brother returned to the church and are still going to this day. It wasn't until I decided for myself to go back that a truly gained a testimony for myself. Now that I have been back I cant ever imagine leaving or becoming inactive again. Through trials and transgressions (Sins) I went through and then applied the atonement to my life and corrected it I have gained a knowledge that my Heavenly Father and Christ love me and that through him I can make it back to heaven. The gospel is the main focus in my life. I cant wait to get married here soon in the temple to the girl I love. I recently had the opportunity to go to the temple to get my endowment and there is no greater feeling on the earth than being the Lords house.

How I live my faith

I have been ordained to the both the Aaronic and melchizedek priesthoods. I frequently pass and bless the sacrament in church. I have had the opportunity of teaching lessons in various classes as well as go teach with the missionaries in the ward when they have appointments. I read my scriptures daily and study other gospel related books. Prayer is a very powerful tool as well and I always try to make sure I pray both morning and evening.
