Hi I'm Lauren

I absolutely love music. I do a lot of non-profit work. I love my family! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well for starters, I love to sing, I also love to play the piano, and well, I just love music in general! I am currently attending my first year of college at Weber State University where I plan on receiving my Associates degree before I soon leave to serve an LDS mission to Pennsylvania Philadelphia. I absolutely love doing non-profit work, and having been sexually abused as a child, have volunteered with multiple non-profit organizations relating to child protection. My family members are my best friends! I have an amazing older brother who is currently serving an LDS mission in the Thailand Bangkok mission, and a fabulous younger sister who is in her sophomore year of high school. My parents are incredible, and it is because of them that I have become the person that I am today!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The blessings of this gospel have been with me and helped me throughout my entire life and I am truly grateful. The Book of Mormon is true, I have read its pages and have received confirmation of its truthfulness through prayer.Families are eternal and through the blessings of the temple I can be with mine forever. Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet on this earth today. Joseph Smith did in fact restore the gospel to this earth in its entirety. I have Heavenly Parents who love me and I love them. Jesus Christ lives. He is my brother, my Savior, and my Redeemer. I love Him with all of my heart and owe my life to Him. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and living gospel upon the earth. I love this gospel of which I am a part and am proud to be a part of it!

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday for three hours, and it is wonderful! My church calling gives me the opportunity to teach a class of four and five year olds, and I absolutely love it. In fact, I oftentimes feel that the children teach me more than I could ever teach them; it is truly humbling. Prayer and scripture study are a part of my daily schedule and I cherish both with all of my heart!
