Hi I'm Bowen Ballard

I love football and want to be a doctor. I'm currently serving a mission in Santiago, Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in 2014. I am an avid sports fan, particularly football. During high school I was on the football team and played middle line backer. I am going to be attending the University of Utah when I get back from serving my mission. I have always had an interest in becoming a doctor, and plan on attending medical school after my undergraduate.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt our Savior's love in my life. I know that through Him anything is possible. I haven't always had a strong testimony, I was really struggling with who I really was and was always asking God "why me?" At this time of my life I was struggling with a weight issue, and in order to not be on the line in football you had to be below the weight limit. Through many hard nights, I read in the Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 32:9, which tells us that if you dedicate your performance to God, then he will bless you for the welfare of our souls. That made me who am I today, I am grateful for this gospel in my life and know that our Father and his son Jesus Christ love us exponentially.

How I live my faith

I am and have been involved with the church my whole life. I have served in many leadership positions there. I have always enjoyed learning something new every week and be inspired to reach out to others. I love to help people and enjoy seeing them happy. My callings throughout my life have blessed my life in so many ways.
