Hi I'm Kim

I'm a music & film producer, wife & mom. I'm a daughter of God--and a grateful Mormon!

About Me

I'm a mom, a wife and a grandma. I have been a musician all my life and love the beautiful harmonies God has given us. I play the piano and organ, sing, write and arrange music, and produce films and concerts with amazing adults and kids, and awesome, uplifting (and often fun!) music. I teach kids age 4-18 advanced vocal techniques in a fun honors choir and enjoy producing and directing them in fun, clean, musical & educational films that teach values, the "Mormon" Articles of Faith, American Sign Language--and all kinds of interesting things about a kid's world for a popular Internet channel that gets millions of views every month, which is really fun for the kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church but became "inactive" and more worldly when I was a teenager and throughout my twenties. I researched and investigated many other religions. After living a more worldly life, I returned to Mormonism. Happiness increased a least a thousand percent when I was actively living the Mormon religion! It is the only place I feel "the Spirit": I feel close to my Heavenly Father and Jesus and get ongoing help and answers to prayer from Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. I KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Mormon church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is Christ's true church here on earth. He set it up! I have tested it over and over. Even when things in my life aren't going great, God helps me deal with them better and I am very, very happy as I strive to life righteously. Best of all, I know I am a daughter of God and He loves me. You are daughters and sons of God, too, with a devine nature and heritage. Because of this, you are truly magnificent! As you strive to live righteously, you can find this great happiness and feel "the Spirit", too! Oh, how I encourage you to do so! It is the best thing a person can feel, that closeness to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Each week on Sunday, using music, I teach children about Heavenly Father, Jesus, the Holy Ghost and families. I am a "visiting teacher" to some wonderful women in our congregation, which is called a "ward." I often help direct or perform in special music programs that are open to the community, such as at Christmastime. I am sometimes privileged to produce or perform in music programs at the Salt Lake Tabernacle and the LDS Conference Center, such as "Savior of the World", which is a beautiful, humbling experience. I live my faith as best I can and I am continually being taught by Heavenly Father and Jesus via "the Spirit" of the Holy Ghost, which tells me when something is true or false, safe or dangerous.
