Hi I'm RaeLynn

I'm a nurse. I'm a country girl from Wyoming. I spend time in God's beautiful country. I'm an adventurer. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. I've spent most my life outdoors whether on a horse or exploring beautiful terrain on foot. I've seen many miles of the Tetons, Yellowstone, much of Southern Utah, and other great places this way. I love to camp, rock climb, hike, canyoneer, ride 4-wheelers, hunt, swim, snowmobile, snowshoe, and so much more. In my experiences, I have found myself getting closer to God by being in His grand creations. I have also been blessed to see many other places of God's handiwork. I've traveled to Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, and Greece as well as many places around the United States. I enjoy seeing how other people live, what they eat, how they celebrate family and friends, and how they worship God. God loves all of His children dearly. I've seen that in my travels. I believe that a part of who I am today can be linked back to these places I've visited and that a piece of my heart still resides there. Working as a nurse brings great fulfillment to my life! My favorite part of my job is serving people during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. My biggest joy in life comes from spending time with people. I love getting to know new people. I love to discover why they are the way they are. I also enjoy spending time and going on adventures with my dear friends and family. I learn so much from my friends and family. Relationships in life bring me tremendous joy and laughter!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ just makes sense. When I live the commandments God has set forth, I am deeply happy. I find purpose in life and direction in where I want to go. I have discovered in my life that God wants His children to be happy. He wants them to have true joy each and every day. He is also bound by laws of righteousness. We can only be happy and feel that joy when we are obeying His commandments to follow God. Alma 41:10- "Wickedness never was happiness." I have seen in my life that when I choose to follow God and what He's asked me to do, I grow closer to Him, I feel of His Holy Spirit, I feel deeply happy, and I gain more knowledge of God's plan for me. God wants His children to come unto Him and to follow His example. The only one holding us back from receiving of the blessings of God is us- ourselves. I've learned and am still learning how not to hold myself back from God but to give my will and my heart to Him by obeying His commandments and coming closer to Him. It is a journey but it is the purpose of life.

How I live my faith

I currently serve members of my faith by planning activities for the young single adults in my area. I plan activities that bring us closer together to build relationships and friendships and that bring us closer to the Lord. I also live my faith by sharing my beliefs with others. I know how happy I am with the Lord in my life and I want to share that happiness and peace with others around me. All deserve the opportunity to feel of God's love for them and to see who they are destined to become and where they should go in life. God has the answers of life. I try to share those answers with all those around me each and every day.
