Hi I'm Jake Blanchard

I live in Idaho, work at Brigham Young University-Idaho, am married to an amazing wife and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the love of my life. We live in Rexburg Idaho and currently do not have any children. I work for Brigham Young University Idaho. My wife works for an eye doctor. I love to play sports, especially basketball and golf. I love to be around and spend time with my family, whether it be my in-laws or my brothers and sisters my favorite time is spent with them.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my life. It influences everything that I do. I know that Jesus Christ lives, I know that He is my Redeemer, that He suffered for me and died that I might live again. I know that His Church is on the Earth again. I testify that there is a prophet on the Earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book. I have read it, I have prayed about it, and I have felt that confirming witness in my heart.

How I live my faith

I currently serve a leadership position in a young single adults ward. This allows my wife and I to have a lot of interaction with college students and take part in their wonderful lives. It has been a great blessing in our lives to be able to work with and get to know students as they are going to school and away from home. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is my life. I work at BYU-Idaho which is an University owned by the Church. I live in a community which primarily consists of Mormons, I have been associated with the Church my whole life. I love it, it has made me, me.
