Hi I'm Courtney

I grew up in Idaho. I'm majoring in speech pathology. I love the outdoors and anything artsy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in college and I am majoring in speech-language pathology. I love to paint, draw, write, listen to music, be outdoors, and spend time with my family. I've played the guitar for six years and I'm learning how to play the piano. I love to learn new things and meet new people. I love languages and if I could I'd learn them all. Same goes for musical instruments. Most of all, I love getting to know and talk to people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found nothing else that brings greater joy or peace. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, who I am, where I came from, and where I want to go. I have never felt more free or more joyful than when I am living (to the best of my abilities) the way the Savior does. I am a Mormon because it makes me whole, and I am grateful for this church and the opportunities it provides me to be a better person and to bring me closer to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time. I know I'm not perfect, not by any stretch of the imagination, but I love that through my beliefs, I know I can keep trying to be better. I love to serve other people, and I think it is the quickest way to get to know and love someone. I get to visit several women in our congregation every month and I love getting to know them and teach them and learn from them and serve them. I try every day to be more like my savior, Jesus Christ, and though I often make mistakes, I always keep trying!
